One of the historical figures said to have inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula is Vlad the Impaler. Our tour will include the castle known as Dracula's castle, but that isn't the castle that Vlad lived in.  However, we will be visiting  Castelul Corvinilor, which is the largest Medieval castle in Transylvania and one of the largest castles in all of Europe. This castle is known to have housed many rulers in Medival Europe and housed many prisoners, including Vlad. Before we venture to this monumental castle, take an hour to watch this fascinating docoumentary about Vlad the Impaler.
