We have been offering grant writing services for well over a decade as a private company. We’ve served over 300 nonprofits and have offered programs to help the new nonprofits expand their ability to fundraise with an economical option that helps them to learn the ropes of grant funding, working with foundations, and having the hard work prepared for them so they set their foot out into the world of foundations on solid ground. We also do all of the research to find the right foundations for them to apply to as well as deeply research each foundation’s funding history to ensure that the request amount is on par with what they will ACTUALLY fund.
In this line of work, we have seen all manner of issues regarding grant funding. Many do not know much about the grant funding cycle. They don’t understand how foundations think. They see it only from their lens and not how the foundations would look at them. They think grants should be guaranteed (if you hire any grant writer who guarantees funding, you should be running and screaming the opposite direction because you are being preyed upon - literally no one can guarantee grant funding except the foundation themselves).
What Types of Support?
We offer a variety of options that fit any budget regardless of what stage the nonprofit is in.
1023 Support
We have helped nonprofits before achieving 501(c)(3) status by preparing and submitting their 1023EZ or 1023 application to the IRS. Our success rate in this regard is 100%. We are very thorough in acquiring the necessary information and ensuring your organization has everything in place before you apply. This is how you achieve a smooth approval.
Education
After that, we help you with Nonprofit Basics Courses. These offer the key factors that impact every single nonprofit (regardless of tenure). Those include Governance, the Fundraising Cycle, Grant Funding, and Planning a Fundraising Event. We’ve spoken at great length on these in the past.
Grant Funding
We offer grant writing services for every stage of development. For those new to grants, we have customized packaged that are designed to help new nonprofits get their feet wet with the grant submission process. We do the research, writing, and provide instructions. They do the physical submission with the easy to replicate materials we have created for them. They also get 2 hours of consultation to use as needed for anything they want to use it for. These are called our New Nonprofit Grant Packages.
These packages offer:
1 Master Proposal
1 Grant Research Report of 6 or 30 grants
1 or 2 Budgets (optional)
2 Hours of Consultation
You can take a look at the proposal for these options here.
New Nonprofit Annual Support
What we are starting to offer this year is a new program. This has evolved from our New Nonprofit Extension Plus package where they get an updated narrative (one year or more after their previous narrative was prepared) and a new 12 grant research report. We have decided to make this easier and have it become more of a community. This will help them feel like they aren’t alone and they will meet fellow new nonprofits who are also learning alongside them. This program will be $100/month and will offer the same New Nonprofit Extension Plus package as part of the subscription. In addition, anyone who subscribes will be automatically included in the community group. This also applies to organizations who are just starting out with a New Nonprofit Package. They will be offered the option to pay for the subscription service one year after their initial package purchase, but they will be included in the community immediately upon their purchase of the New Nonprofit Package that gets them started. Once they start paying for the subscription, they are automatically enrolled to receive the New Nonprofit Extension Plus package at no additional charge. They are required to pay for the full annual subscription and can choose to pay $100/monthly or pay in full and save $200. These are by invitation only and will be sent only to the nonprofits who are already utilizing our services. If you would like to learn more about our grant services and other nonprofit service options, you can contact us by making an appointment and review our grant package options at the link above.
